Ok, thanks! I think this firmware is the ownership of International Quartz Ltd anyway. I've search the Internet, but it looks like the company doesn't exist anymore.

Since firmware versions mostly are bug fixes, my view is that such software should be free to any owner.

So @modem7 and others, here are the EPROM dumps for the International Quartz Ltd model no 9243 (branded Philips Flyer). Although there is a string in the EPROMs showing version 7, version 8 is show when booting. The EPROMs are marked version 8 on their labels. Looks like there is another string showing version 8 as well. The labels are also marked "HI" and "LO". The board is marked "H" and "L" accordingly.

I'll guess the 9243 models only difference to 9242 is the disk configuration. It is equipped with one floppy (instead of two) and one hard disk. If so, the dumps should work for the 9242 model (the one discussed by OP) as well.

4k EPROM nearby HD6303RP microcontroller presumably for keyboard and leds
4k EPROM nearby LCD/CGA controller (Yamaha) presumably for characters and graphic symbols
2x 8k EPROMs for main CPU (BIOS version 8 high and low)
